Like many of its neighbors, Homer Glen has shown an increase in amount of homes sold in recent years from the big drop of 2008, but is still showing a decrease in the average sale price of single family Homer Glen homes. On the other hand, although home owners would prefer to see price increases, single digit drops aren't too bad compared to some other towns. Let's keep the double digit price drops to 2009!
Note: I noticed a slight difference between final figures the last two years and I'm not sure why, but it isn't a big difference. These stats are provided by our Mainstreet Board of REALTORS.

Homer Glen condos and townhomes have positive stats for 2011! Look at the whopping 142.9% increase in amount of units sold - I haven't seen a number like that in the southwest suburbs. Prices didn't increase with single family Homer Glen homes, but they did with attached homes (condos/duplexes/townhomes). It was a nice 8.9% increase. Condos are taking a hit in most areas, but for the past two years prices have been increasing in Homer Glen.
