Cook County Illinois Real Estate
Following are the Cook County surburbs that I work in. Cook County and the state of Illinois charge transfer tax stamps for real estate sold. Illinois charges a fee that the seller customarily pays of $.50/500.00. Cook County charges a transfer tax, which is paid by the seller, of $.25/$500.00.
