Illinois Launches Opportunity I-Loan Program

Governor Blagojevitch recently launched the new I-Loan Program which is geared towards helping working and tax paying minority and immigrant families to purchase homes.

It is called Opportunity I-Loan and will help those that don’t have checking accounts or established credit to be able to receive low interest mortgage loans.  Illinois is the second state to provide these 30-year, fixed rate mortgages to qualifying purchasers even if they don’t have a credit history or a social security number.

To find out more go to Opportunity I-Loan - (will open a new window).
