Illinois is the Leader in Pumpkins!
I guess because Halloween is my favorite holiday (and I love pumpkin pie and anything else pumpkin), this was something I found interesting because I had no idea. There are 988 million pounds of pumpkin grown in the country annually and Illinois produces 457 million pounds.
